At Ascezen Consulting, we strive to provide exceptional IT consulting and services to our clients. However, we understand that circumstances may require a cancellation or refund request. This policy outlines our approach to cancellations and refunds to ensure transparency and fairness.
Cancellation Policy
For Clients:
Clients may request the cancellation of services by providing a written notice via email to our support team at least *7 days* before the commencement of the service.
-If a project has already started, a cancellation request will be subject to review. Any work completed up to the date of cancellation will be billed accordingly, and the client will be liable for the costs incurred.
-Retainer-based or subscription services require a *30-day prior written notice* for cancellation. Any payments made for the current billing cycle are non-refundable.
For Ascezen Consulting:
Ascezen Consulting reserves the right to cancel any project or service due to unforeseen circumstances, non-compliance with agreed-upon terms, or non-payment by the client.
In such cases, a pro-rata refund will be issued for any unutilized portion of the service, except in cases of contractual violations by the client.
2. Refund Policy
Prepaid Services: Refunds for prepaid services will be processed only if the service has not been initiated. A request must be made within 7 days of payment.
Project-Based Services: If a project is terminated by the client after initiation, any refund will be subject to deduction of the work completed and costs incurred.
Subscription Services: Payments made for subscription-based services are *non-refundable*. Clients may cancel future billing cycles with appropriate notice as per the cancellation policy.
Change of Mind: No refunds will be provided for change-of-mind requests after work has commenced.
Quality Issues: If the client is dissatisfied with the quality of service, they may submit a dispute request. Ascezen Consulting will evaluate the claim and may offer a partial refund or rework, at our discretion.
Tax Liabilities: All tax liabilities, including GST, will be borne by the client and will not be refunded if the tax has been deducted or paid.
3. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within *14 business days* from the date of approval.
Refunds will be issued using the original payment method or another mutually agreed alternative.
Any applicable transaction fees or bank charges will be deducted from the refund amount.
- Exceptions
Customized solutions, consulting hours, and digital products (e.g., reports, research documents) are non-refundable once delivered.
Refunds will not be issued for delays caused by client-side factors such as untimely approvals, lack of communication, or changes in project scope.
